Dialogic主機媒體處理(HMP)軟體產品，用於在基於Dialogic構架之上的普通伺服器上

活的、可擴充的、低成本的下一代IP媒體伺服器。

主機媒體處理軟體是Dialogic通信模組技術的一種。安裝該軟體後，在用戶的應用軟體看
來，它就像Dialogic?Dialogic?的DM3構架的語音板一樣，不同的只是所有的媒體處理都
由主機的處理器來完成。為了幫助用戶加快他們產品投放市場的時間和向IP方向移植他們
已有的應用程式，該軟體支援兩種API，即進行媒體處理的
R4API和呼叫控制的GlobalCall。

HMP軟體使用了內置的網卡(NIC)來提供IP連接。它支援工業標準的H.323和SIP協定來進行
呼叫控制，呼叫轉移使用H.450.2補充服務協定，IP廣播支援象通告，大規模的只聽模式
會議等應用。

HMP通過G.711，G.723.1,G.729ab格式來支援IP上的RTP/RTSP媒體流。為了有助於網路上
的媒體流質量，HMP軟體支援10、20和30毫秒大小的幀(G.711)，以及諸如QoS門限告警之
類的其它特性。
